Gallery44 is an independent art space founded by interior designer Jino Murad, born from the desire to blur the lines between living and exhibiting. Housed beneath a Primrose Hill townhouse, the gallery reimagines how art is experienced - not on pristine white walls, but within the textures of real, designed space.
Drawing on Jino’s background in interior architecture, Gallery44 creates immersive environments that honour the intimacy of both home and object. Every exhibition and residency is a dialogue between space and artist - an invitation to slow down, to engage deeply, and to collect meaningfully.
The gallery champions emerging artists from the Middle East and its diaspora, with a particular interest in material-led practices. Whether through clay, textile, or metal, the work exhibited at Gallery44 often carries memory in its form - making the domestic setting not just a backdrop, but a collaborator.
This is not a traditional gallery. This is art lived in.
