Jino Murad is the founder and Creative Director of Jino Design, a boutique interior design studio based between Primrose Hill, London and Dubai. Known for her refined, urban chic aesthetic, Jino has built a distinguished portfolio of high-end residential and commercial projects over the past two decades - guided by an instinctive eye for materiality, detail, and spatial storytelling.
A lifelong passion for the arts runs through her practice. From a young age, Jino was drawn to the interplay of colour, light, texture, and form - a curiosity that led her to study interior design at London Guildhall University, where she earned her BA Honours degree in 2004. Her early career included internships with leading London design houses, offering a foundation grounded in craftsmanship and creative excellence.
From a young age Jino was always fascinated with art and design, and the interaction between colour, light, pattern and texture. This passion led to Jino pursuing a career in interior design, which started with her studying the subject at the London Guildhall University, where she gained a BA Honours degree in 2004. During her time at university, Jino also won a number of summer internships at famous London design houses, which gave her the perfect platform to begin her career.
Since then, Jino has worked internationally, including senior roles in both London and the UAE. Most notably, she was a senior interior designer at The Studio in Harrods before establishing Jino Design in 2013. Today, her studio operates between London and Dubai, offering a full suite of services - from interior design and fit-out to bespoke furniture design, sourcing, and consultancy.
Each project is a synthesis of architectural sensitivity and artistic influence, shaped by Jino’s belief that interiors should evoke emotion, beauty, and personal meaning.
“My idea of perfect design is when a space tells the story of its people — their journey, values, and spirit — without ever saying a word.”
